DIADOTA was created out of a strong love for culture and a close bond with nature. Based in the lively city of Nairobi, their studio showcases the rich traditions and artistic talents of the African continent. With a clear goal: to design homeware that captures the spirit of Afro Interior Design while also reflecting modern styles.
The brand started from the joyful memories the Founder Wandia spent in sunny gardens, enjoying the warmth of family and the vibrant beauty of Nairobi. Those early moments sparked a deep affection for the land, its people, and their artistic talent, which now inspires every DIADOTA piece.
Each design is hand-drawn, carefully blending contemporary styles with traditional patterns. This mix of old and new is what makes our homeware special. The DIADOTA studio prioritises sustainability and ethical practices, making sure that every item is not just beautiful but also responsibly produced.
DIADOTA’S mission is to highlight and celebrate Afro Interior Design worldwide. They want to show everyone that Kenya, and Africa as a whole, is filled with craftsmanship and creativity that truly deserves to be seen and valued.
