Founded in 2014, AMWA Designs specialises in creating handcrafted textiles and print designs for the home, emphasising the beauty and craftsmanship that lies at the heart of each piece. The brand is driven by a deep appreciation for colour, texture, and the belief that our homes should be spaces filled with beautiful, meaningful furnishings that inspire positivity and well-being. Through their family business, Tinja, they collaborate with artisans across Tunisia, centralizing designs in their workshop. In 2023, they launched Altin to create contemporary craft pieces, honoring tradition while pushing creative boundaries. Inspired by Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede is a cabinet that transforms as it’s viewed from all angles. Its seamless design, with seagrass woven over a metal frame, allows airflow while the metal checkerboard pattern evokes satellite solar panels. The contrast between cold metal and delicate seagrass creates harmony, with natural oxidation adding texture.
