The third edition of Marrakech Fashion Week took place from 6 to 9 March 2024, an event organised by Marie Bogaert with the collaboration of Beppe Pisani as manager of the Italian Fashion Team.

Marrakech, with its rich cultural life and vibrant art scene, was the chosen backdrop for the Musée Yves Saint Laurent and major fashion presentations Dior Cruise 2020 and Louis Vuitton High Jewellery 2022. By embracing this legacy, MFW has established itself as the hallmark of fashion in Marrakech.

The annual event born in 2022 saw the participation of 15 fashion shows and a collective of 22 young Moroccan designers as well as the participation of 45 designers inside the MFW District by Movenpick Marrakech container, a showroom inside the city conference center.

Among other novelties, the participation of the young Angolan stylist Ricardo Sumbo, of the Ied Institutes of Rome with the designers Dorotea Oddo, Maria Chiara Sorbino and Iuad of Naples with the designer Andrea Di Giulio.
Marrakech Fashion Week on this occasion announced the partnership with the two largest fashion schools Collège LaSalle in Montreal and Brega Mode in Marrakech.

The objective of the MFW is to create a meeting and exchange place for high-profile Moroccan and international designers and to promote young Moroccan Talents..

Four locations have been chosen for the third edition: Palais Bahia, one of the most important architectural works of Marrakech, Movenpick Marrakech, the Marrakech Congress Palace, M.Bacha, an iconic riad nestled in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, Al Madeen Golf Resort, golf course.

The fashion week opened with the Maison Artc show, founded by the designer Artsi Ifrach, followed in the following days by Elllu Couture, Mila Morelli, Helena Magdalena, Maison du Caftan, Lune de Jour, Karim Tassi, Alphadi.

Representing Made in Italy are the Italian stylists Giovanni Cavagna, with the spring-summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, giving each piece a contemporary and three-dimensional dimension, Michele Miglionico, with his high fashion collection looks at tradition by telling the cultural heritage, artistic and anthropological of his land of origin, enhancing the elements of Lucanian custom, craftsmanship, sacredness and, finally, to close the fashion week in Marrakech, the Palestinian designer Jamal Taslaq presenting a high fashion collection that reflects the union of different cultures, blending Eastem and Westem influences.

During the second evening of the MFW at the Palais des Congrès, the lifetime achievement award was awarded to the stylist Romeo Gigli who received a miniature version of the work Fil roug by the artist Nicola Salvatore, a work located in the art garden of the city of Marrakech.

The third edition of Marrakech Fashion Week was a celebration of fashion with the aim of fusing traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary design, offering a platform for promising talents from the Moroccan and international fashion scene.
